Who Are We?

Moine Urbain works to enhance everyday life, channeling all its energy into creating original lines for the kitchen and bathroom: islands, sinks, showers, tubs, hardware and exclusive accessories.

Mario Lafrenais, the soul and designer behind Moine Urbain, rethinks space and everyday objects down to the smallest detail. His goal: to rediscover simplicity and harmony through the object, to strip away what is overly polished, to refine the lines, to rethink the mechanics of objects so they endure and uplift through beauty. Moine Urbain transforms raw material while keeping its rugged spirit intact. The essential is there, and it's all we need.

Moine Urbain is a state of mind within each of us, a way of life.
